17-Inch LCD “Shines” in the Office San Francisco, December 2, 2002: For offices of all sizes, the big-screen LCD has arrived. AOC’s LM720 is an affordable, high-quality display that “shines when it comes to typical office apps,” according to a recent Smart Computing review. Built for ease-of-use and quality viewing, the LM720 is a 17-inch LCD with analog input that delivers photo-realistic imaging. “The LM720 is a pretty sharp display overall because of a low 0.264mm pixel pitch, and the LCD supports wide viewing angles,” stated Smart Computing’s review. In addition, on-screen images were described as “bright and beautiful.” The LM720 was subjected to Smart Computing’s standard test cycles and came through with high marks. Particularly noteworthy were the display’s clarity and geometry. According to the reviewer, “Focus and resolution matrices looked crisp, defocusing tests revealed no halos... and tests for geometric balance were perfect.” In addition, on-screen text was singled out as being “pleasantly readable,” which is especially important for task-oriented office computing. “We’re proud of the LM720’s performance,” said Tak Shimizu, VP of Sales and Marketing for AOC. “At AOC, we don’t just make computer displays. We depend on them for running our daily business. We know quality is everything. That’s why Smart Computing’s LM720 review is particularly meaningful to us.” About Smart
