Envision 17”
LCD with TV Tuner Wins Over Computer Shopper Magazine New York, February 2003: Citing the multitasking ability of Envision’s all-in-one LCD with TV tuner, Computer Shopper Magazine has named the EN-7500 one of the most affordable, useful LCD computer displays currently available. “Envision’s EN-7500 17-inch LCD monitor, which includes a built-in TV tuner, can save you serious space by doubling as a TV screen,” stated Computer Shopper’s review. “At $599, it’s also among the least-expensive 17-inch LCD/TVs we’ve seen.” Specifically, reviewers found the EN-7500’s built-in TV capability, picture-in-picture format, and picture clarity to be among its most attractive features. “We were rather taken with the EN-7500’s picture-in-picture (PiP) option,” stated the review. “It allows you, for instance, to browse a candidate’s web site while watching election returns on CNN.” Also noteworthy was the LCD’s pixel-response rate, which reviewers found to be fast and consistent. “The unit’s fast 20ms pixel-response rate means you’ll see little blurring during fast-moving animation or video,” a problem that often besets lower-quality LCD displays. In sum, the reviewers at Computer Shopper called the EN-7500 “an attractive choice for sports and news junkies, as well as buyers contending with cramped work or living spaces.” “The EN-7500 is a great display for home and office users,” stated Tak Shimizu, VP of Sales and Marketing for Envision. “It’s affordable, but more importantly, it saves space by doubling as a PC and TV screen. It performs both functions with no sacrifice in quality. That’s what we want consumers to know—and what Computer Shopper has recognized it for.” About Computer
