New AOC 15" LCD Debuts in PC World's Top 10 San Francisco, March 5, 2003 - A combination of high-quality graphics and low price has earned the new AOC LM520 a place in PC World's coveted Top 10 list. "At a mere $299, the newest flat-panel monitor from AOC has the enviable distinction of being one of the lowest-priced LCDs around," the magazine stated. "You'd be hard-pressed to find a 15-inch panel that costs less than this." But price wasn't the only advantage enjoyed by the LM520. In its rankings of 15-inch LCD monitors, PC World rated the LM520 strongly against competition from NEC, Samsung, Sony and others. The ultra-thin LCD earned the highest graphics quality score among the tested LCDs tested using a VGA connection. Judges were impressed by the LM520's "highly affordable price and fetching color," as well as the easy-to-use dial on the front bezel for on-screen controls and navigating through menus. "The PC World rankings validate our basic value proposition-world-class quality at world-beating prices," said Tak Shimizu, VP of Sales and Marketing for AOC. "AOC is leading the way in making 15-inch LCD displays affordable for every computer user."
